        Hi all,

        A few weeks ago, forum member Charles would like to build an amplifier using Germanium transistors.

        Well, let’s grab our Legacy parts and build one in no time !

        It’s a small amplifier with low output power, but it still has the charm of an old yesterdays project.

        It uses a feedback loop and thus very good stability, even after a few hours of playing.

        The word “fuzz” comes from the fact that the input is saturated which creates a distorted sound. This can be achieved by turning the volume of your music source loud enough so the sound gets “fuzzy” !

        Of course, you can try other values for the resistors for real groovy distortion sounds !

        You can connect an audio source like a smartphone or tablet and play some clean guitar music.

        Oh yes, P2 controls the smoothness of the sound.
